Its just that this was a long expired auction and i personally asked the artist to sell it to me for whatever price they wished as a flatsale so when they said they couldnt because they didnt have any other website they could do this, i asked the to please re-open the auction, which they promised to do on Monday. So i canceled a bunch of commissions to get 40$ just for this adopt (which was also my max bid if needed) and was super hyped about it.

So i followed it until i had to sleep because work the next day and once i woke up i saw you had outbidded me by 1$ so like you understand i got pretty sad over. I just letting you know so you wouldnt think i am spoiled or wanna cause drama or something, i was just legit hyped over this specific adoptable for days ever since i found it. I wasn't aware we can place auto bidding otherwise i would had at 40$, so that's on me. Anyways, sorry for the bitter taste, hope you enjoy the adopt :)

You literally can't resell an adopt you've already sold to someone that's not how it works. That's like saying you specifically bought a character from another artist and paid them upfront just for them to turn around and sell it under your nose, I don't think YOU would like that Buying is the ownership. They are paying YOu for the design that's how adopts work
