New auction: Adopt auction

I find it weird how during the last minute of the auction i managed to place my bid, and then eventually the auction ended with me being the highest bidder as no one else bid higher during that time. Then for the next hour i wait for a message, only to to see i have been outbid at the last minute… somehow? Idk how this happened but it doesn’t seem fair to me I was really looking forward to buying him
