Question in regards to wings. If my character has them, and I say I'm okay with simplifying them for the piece, would that be acceptable? Just trying to figure out which character I may want for this.

Yes. If they can be simplified wings that would be fine. Just as long as they're not say... in the realm of massive seraphim-esque wings that may obstruct other characters then you should be more than fine.
