Is the bidding increment really $40? I'd like to bid just $42, but it's only letting me bid $70 minimum.

$70 is the maximum price, you can bid $40 and wait for the auction to end ))

No no, my point is it wouldn't LET me bid $40. It was only letting me bid a minimum of $70. OTherwise I would have bid on the piece.
