It's not unfair for someone to do better than you, we all work hard. That being said, I cannot ignore that the prices are ridiculously high, and I don't mean to say that the artwork is not worth it (since that is very subjective) but what I mean is that it's quite likely that the price is artificially inflated or that the bidders are making false bids without any real intention of buying. All of this is not new.
The two highest bidders at the moment are two extremely generous people who are, according to them, interested in helping out with my financial situation above all. Also, both have separately come up with the idea of co-owning the character with me, since they're aware I am only parting with him due to extenuating circumstances. The both of you choosing to speculate so wildly and rudely underneath my auction is baffling.
