umm, that's twice now that the name I'm outbidding as AUTOMATICALLY changed to out bid ME. Like, RIGHT as I bid. I think it's a bot account.

I do have autobid on, so that might be why! That's the only way I could explain that.

Even so, you should be able to see the previous bids they made, right? There should be a bid for $1 below each of my other bids.

Yeah, I have no idea! I think it could be bug, I've seen it on other auctions but I'm not sure! I wish I could explain it better or know the reason why.

Well, I made the $11 bid after I was denied the $10 bid as I was making it. It was almost like the person was editing their bid in real time with my bids.

Thats how autobid works. It's referred to as proxy bidding on other auction sites. A bidder basically bids the highest they will go. The proxy will try to bid the lowest possible that still beats any bids placed against it within the max specified automatically. That proxy bid essentially only counts as one bid in the system until you beat it, which is why the bid seems to update with yours not leaving any trail. Thats just how they coded it I guess.
