what can we do with the adopt after winning the bid for it?

Once you win the bid for the adopt ( design ), you gain full personal rights to the character! This means you can use it for your personal projects, stories, artwork, roleplays, or even create merchandise if agreed upon beforehand ^^

is commercial use a no? because idk tf that counts as personal and I'm only asking to make sure nothing i might do could cause an issue

Commercial use is not allowed because the design is based on Pokémon, which is owned by Nintendo. Personal use means you can use it for things like stories, roleplays, or private merch (not for sale). Some people also enjoy collecting adopts like Pokémon cards to build their own unique collection.
