I am too was upset that the AB was from a newbie discovering how AB works on this site :')😭

Sorry if I get in the conversation, but I have seen some sellers delete the offer and so the auction continues normal.

deleting the offer seems to work if the offer is not the AB price or above it, Autobuy function always ends the auction, meaning it wouldn't be able to continue..

A friend of mine deleted two fake ABs in her auctions two months ago and her post stayed normal until the time ended, I don’t know if that still works. :,p

i've only ever seen that once, months ago but more recently i haven't, though i don't post auctions myself
