Not exactly I took inspiration from JRPG vibes, but it’s not tied to Final Fantasy specifically

No, it’s not a Chocobo 🙂 It’s simply a large riding bird. Since this concept isn’t very common, it naturally brings Final Fantasy to mind. That said, similar mounts exist in other games as well (Guild Wars 2, Ragnarok Online’s Peco Peco, Grand Fantasia’s Sunbirds). This mount differs in proportions, eyes, colors, feather design, and it has no wings (even if that isn’t very visible behind the character 😅). So while I understand the comparison, it’s really about the shared idea of a large riding bird — and that association is hard to avoid.
