I think a lot of people did Reindeer around now, so it might be better that you didn't. You can always do something as a nod in summer like Reindeer on Vacation!

Long as you either are willing to part with the story or have the buyer not use it at all. But I would encourage you, especially because if you feel invested in a design, you'll maybe do more comics!
