To answer your question, the starting bid is $5. This option is for those who wish to receive the lineart only, allowing them the freedom to customize their own original character (OC) without the added task of creating the base linework themselves. For customers interested in purchasing the full character design (excluding front and back views| the original image listed), the price is $45.
You should make it more clear in future adopts. Or just make two separate listings. one in "crafts" for selling the lineart and one in "adopts" which is just the adopt.
You bought the line art/base design, not the entire character…. The entire character is worth $45 fully rendered with a reference sheet. Sorry for the misunderstanding!
