I'm glad you like her! It's so nice to see someone so interested! The badge is actually meant to be a sun with lightning bolt rays instead of fire. It's her cutie mark! As for what kind of fighter she is, she's much like a paladin. At first I thought of her as just a royal guard, but she's developed beyond that.
